The most consequential environmental and ethical choices we make are in what we build and for whom. Our responsible autonomy commitments are the substantive part of this page, not an adjacent one.

We are a small research-and-development company, and we intend to report on our responsibilities in proportion to that — honestly, without the language of a large corporation describing programmes it has not built yet.
Our Stance

honest about it.
Sustainability reporting in defence often runs ahead of substance. Companies our size are tempted to describe frameworks, targets and committees that exist largely on the page. We would rather state plainly what we actually do today, and expand this page as the company grows into more.
That does not mean the topic is unimportant. The decisions a company makes early — how it treats people, what work it accepts, how it accounts for its footprint — are the ones that harden into culture. We are making those decisions now, deliberately.

Our footprint
We are a software-first company with a single engineering facility. Our direct footprint is modest — compute, a building, travel — and we prefer simulation to field testing partly because it consumes far less of all three.
The people we employ
Fair pay, honest hiring, and work that develops people technically. A small team means every hire matters, and so does how they are treated.
What we decline
Refusing work is a sustainability decision too. We do not build systems that remove a human from command, and we will not supply parties we judge unable to use them lawfully.

We would rather publish a short, true page than a long, impressive one. As the company grows, this section will grow with it — and we will date the changes.
