Rewind Dynamics was established in 2020 and is headquartered in New Delhi. We design and develop autonomous systems for defence and military applications — built to be useful, dependable and worth trusting.
Our Story
We started Rewind Dynamics to build autonomy defence forces can trust.
Autonomous systems are becoming important to defence around the world. We think the forces that rely on them deserve capability they can actually understand and own — and we started Rewind Dynamics to help build it.
Our focus is the autonomy itself: the software and engineering that let a machine sense its surroundings, make decisions and move on its own. We're applying that to autonomous bodies — unmanned aerial, humanoid and tactical platforms.
Our name reflects how we intend to work. We record each test, rewind it, understand what happened, and use that to make the next version better. Progress in autonomy comes from disciplined iteration.
We've been at this since 2020, building the foundations deliberately — the autonomy, the team and the engineering. Our priority has been getting the fundamentals right rather than rushing to announce finished products.

Founded
Rewind Dynamics established in New Delhi on 26 January 2020, to build autonomous systems for defence.
Team & Foundations
Assembled the founding engineering team and set up our autonomy, perception and robotics work.
First UAV Development
Began focused development of our first autonomous unmanned aerial system.
Deepening R&D
Expanded our simulation, prototyping and integration work across the programmes.
Growing
Expanded the team and our engineering facility in New Delhi.
Humanoid Research
Opened a dedicated research programme into humanoid systems.
Active R&D
All three families are under active research and development. Nothing has been fielded yet — we are proving the fundamentals first.
First Mission Test
Our first real-world, end-to-end mission test is planned for December 2026.
