Accessibility.

This website should be usable by everyone, including people using a keyboard only, a screen reader, magnification, or a browser configured to reduce motion. This page sets out what we have done, what we aim at, and where we know we fall short.

Our Aim

Usable, not just
compliant.

§ 01 / AIM

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. We are not claiming a formal audit or certification — we have not commissioned one — but we have built and tested this site against those criteria and we treat failures as bugs rather than as a separate category of work.

The site is heavily animated by design. That is a deliberate part of the brand, and it is also the aspect most likely to cause difficulty, which is why motion is the first thing we make optional.

What We've Built In

Measures on
this site.

§ 02 / MEASURES
01

Reduced motion is respected

Every animation on this site is disabled when your browser or operating system requests reduced motion. Nothing moves that you did not ask to move.

02

Keyboard navigable

Every interactive element can be reached and operated with a keyboard, and a skip-to-content link is the first thing focused on each page.

03

Semantic structure

One H1 per page, ordered headings, landmark regions, and navigation marked up so a screen reader can move by structure.

04

Readable text

Body text at 16px and above, no text below 10.5px anywhere on the site, and long words break rather than overflow at any screen width.

05

Works at any width

Every page is tested from 320px to 1920px with no horizontal scrolling, so magnification and small screens both work.

06

Descriptive links and labels

Links describe their destination, images carry alternative text or are marked decorative, and controls have accessible names.

Known Limitations

Where we
fall short.

Stating these is more useful than claiming full conformance. We intend to close them.

  • No formal auditWe have not commissioned an independent accessibility audit. Our testing is internal and automated.
  • Decorative motion remains by defaultAnimation is on unless you request reduced motion; there is no in-page toggle yet.
  • Colour contrast on decorative elementsSome intentionally low-contrast decorative elements — watermarks, grid textures — sit below AA. They carry no information.
  • PDF and third-party contentAny documents or embedded third-party services we add in future may not meet the same standard.
