Rewind Dynamics is founded in New Delhi

We are starting Rewind Dynamics to design and build autonomous systems for defence and military needs.

Today — on Republic Day — we are formally launching Rewind Dynamics, a defence-technology company based in New Delhi. Our purpose is simple to state and hard to do well: to design and build autonomous systems that are genuinely useful to the people who defend and protect.

Why we're doing this

Autonomy is becoming decisive across modern defence. Systems that can sense, decide and act on their own reduce risk to personnel and multiply what a small team can achieve. We believe the forces that depend on these systems should be able to own them — designed and understood in-house, not imported as a black box.

That belief is the reason Rewind Dynamics exists. We want to contribute real, trustworthy autonomy to the defence and military users who depend on it — wherever in the world they operate.

What we'll build

We are focused on three families of autonomous systems:

  • Unmanned aerial systems — for surveillance, reconnaissance and force protection.
  • Humanoid platforms — a long-horizon research programme into human-form robotics.
  • Tactical miniature systems — compact, man-portable autonomy for dismounted use.

All three sit on a shared core of autonomy, perception and dependable systems engineering.

How we'll work

Our name describes our method. We test, we rewind and assess what happened — what went right, what went wrong — and we improve. Dependable autonomy is earned through disciplined engineering and honest testing, not a single flashy demonstration.

We would rather build carefully and earn trust than over-promise. That is the company we intend to be.

We are at the very beginning, and there is a great deal to do. If you are an engineer, a potential partner, or someone in the defence ecosystem who shares this ambition, we would like to hear from you.
